The Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education, Dr. Harini Amarasooriya, together with Mr. Nalaka Kaluwewa, Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education, visited the National Education Commission (NEC) on December 19, 2024. The discussions prioritized the implementation of transformative educational reforms aimed at aligning Sri Lanka’s education system with cutting-edge global trends and the visionary policies of the newly elected government.
